What Are AI SEO Services? Compare the Actual Work

Published 4 min read

The short answer

AI SEO can mean AI-assisted SEO, content production, tracking AI answers or buying software. Before choosing a service, ask what you will receive, what your team still needs to do and how the work will be checked.

On this page

Four different purchases can share the label

Possible meaning What the buyer might receive What still needs an owner
AI-assisted research and planning A reviewed topic map, question analysis or page plan. Business priorities, factual sources and the decision to approve the plan.
AI-assisted writing and editing Drafts, revisions or editing recommendations. Expert verification, editorial acceptance and publication.
GEO / AI-answer visibility work A defined observation panel, evidence records and proposed information improvements. Platform coverage, method, interpretation and approved implementation.
Software or automation Access to a tool or workflow. Operation, configuration, review of outputs and any work the tool does not perform.

These are possible buying meanings, not four products Stormy Increment automatically supplies. An agency using AI behind the scenes is also not the same purchase as a tool your team must operate.

Compare two complete scopes, not the acronym

The following proposals are fictional teaching examples. The quantities are not recommendations, prices or Stormy deliverables.

Scope field Proposal A: page production Proposal B: answer observations and fact review
Business task Explain three priority services more clearly. Understand how a selected set of buying comparisons describes the company.
Outputs Three approved briefs, three page drafts and named on-page recommendations. Twelve justified questions, dated observation records and a public-fact correction list.
Client inputs Service facts, limits, source material and a reviewer. Priority offers, questions buyers actually ask and approved company facts.
Acceptance Each draft answers its brief, supports claims and leaves no unresolved material promise. The specified questions and conditions are documented, including failures and evidence limitations.
Implementation boundary Upload and layout changes must be stated separately. Observing or recommending does not automatically include website changes.
Cost questions Research, revisions, images and publishing: included or separate? Collection tools, repeats, languages, analysis and implementation: included or separate?
Not guaranteed A ranking or conversion increase. A future mention, citation or recommendation.

Three page drafts and twelve questions are not comparable units of value. A company with unclear commercial information may need A first. A company with accurate pages and an important unanswered research question may have a reason to examine B. Neither automatically solves every problem called “AI SEO.”

Distinguish an official requirement from a hypothesis

Google does not require a special AI file or special schema for its AI search features. Its guidance is not a universal description of every AI product.

An experiment can be worthwhile if it has a clear purpose. Ask it to state the hypothesis, evidence, intended change and observation that would inform the next decision. “AI-ready” is not enough. Keep official platform requirements, software recommendations and an agency’s hypotheses clearly separate.

Be cautious when the entire purchase depends on guaranteed inclusion, an unexplained proprietary score or a duplicate version of every page. Ask what information a reader gains and what you can inspect if the external answer never changes.

Keep a named person responsible for the output

Ask who checks product claims, price, service boundaries, qualifications and customer evidence. None becomes true because a model generated a plausible sentence. Identify which materials may enter a tool and which need permission or must remain confidential.

Google’s AI-content guidance emphasizes factual review and useful value. Apply that standard to the text and its metadata. A human approval box is not enough if nobody has verified the important claims.

If an error is found, correct the source material as well as the draft. Otherwise the same incorrect inclusion or invented qualification may reappear across several pages. The review checklist provides a practical record for that decision.

Choose support that addresses the problem

  • “Our service is misrepresented.” Verify the approved facts and inspect public inconsistencies before commissioning more observations.
  • “We need more useful English pages.” Define the writing assignments, sources and review capacity; a tool subscription alone does not complete them.
  • “We cannot inspect the reported AI score.” Request question-level records, failed attempts and definitions using the report guide.
  • “We mainly need software.” Evaluate the actual tool, its controls and operating responsibilities. A service page is not a substitute for a software product specification.

Stormy’s AI search/GEO and English writing offerings are starting points for different scoped discussions. Confirm the actual platform and production coverage rather than assume every meaning of AI SEO is supplied.
