AI Search & GEO
Optimization

Help people researching with AI search tools find clear, accurate information about your business.

01 / Who it’s for

Start with the questions your customers ask

We start with buyer questions and the information your website provides, then agree what to improve and how to review it. No service can guarantee that an AI tool will recommend your business.

AI search/GEO is part of our service range and the annual SEO plan. It is most useful to evaluate when customers use AI-assisted research for questions your company can answer accurately and the information matters to a buying decision.

First, make sure your website explains what you offer, who you serve and what supports your claims. Testing more AI prompts cannot replace missing product facts. Monitoring also needs a clear business purpose.

Illustrative question: “Which type of service fits these operating conditions?” gives a content review a real job. A vague goal such as “appear everywhere in AI” does not define a usable scope.

02 / Scope explained

Understand what GEO does—and does not—include

Label in a proposalWhat you need to know
AI-assisted productionWhich writing, research or editing tasks use AI, and who verifies the result?
AI search/GEOWhich buyer questions and company information are being reviewed, and what changes or observations are delivered?
Software or automationWhat tool, access, setup, recurring fee or workflow is actually supplied?
ConsultingAre you buying advice, implementation or both, and who acts on the recommendations?

These are different purchases. The presence of AI in a workflow does not establish AI-search visibility work, and an optimization service does not automatically include a software subscription or an independent consulting product. Review what AI SEO labels can mean before comparing fees.

Agree on what to track

Agree on the platform and feature, market, language, questions, testing method and review schedule. A result collected under one setup is not proof of representation in every system or for every buyer.

A fictional observation plan might examine a small, approved set of product-selection questions in one language. Each record would retain the exact question, date, system, available location/account context and the record of the response. Results from that clearly defined set should not be called total AI visibility.

Actual platform coverage and testing arrangements need to be confirmed for the engagement. Do not assume that the same method, eligibility rules or reporting facilities apply across all AI services.

04 / What the work produces

Inspect the observation and the page work separately

Demonstration record—not client resultsExample content
Buyer questionWhich service fits a stated application and limitation?
Observation contextNamed system/feature, question, date, language and available collection conditions.
Observed responseA retained response record; brand mention and source citation recorded separately.
Content issueThe company page omits an important eligibility condition.
Proposed taskAdd the approved condition and supporting explanation to the named page.
Completion evidenceApproved content and a change record—not a promise of a later citation.

A report and a page edit are different deliverables. The actual scope should name which are included, who approves business claims and who implements changes. Google says there are no additional special technical requirements or special schema for its AI search features; that statement should not be generalized into a rule for every other platform.

Price the agreed observation and production work

The number and complexity of questions, pages, markets and languages affect the work. So do human checking, factual review, available data, any third-party tools and the responsibility for making changes. A proposal should identify those units rather than use “AI optimization” as an unexplained fee.

Standalone GEO pricing is not quoted here. The annual SEO plan includes an AI/GEO module within its combined scope; it does not establish unlimited prompt testing, every-platform monitoring or all language versions. Additional work and third-party costs need to be stated separately.

The SEO vs GEO guide helps decide whether the immediate task is improving useful company information, setting up a clearly defined observation program or dealing with another problem first.

06 / Useful next decisions

Explore the guides for your next decision

Start with the question you need to answer. These guides explain decisions and review tools; they do not add specialist products, platform support or contractual entitlements to the service scope.

Keep mentions, citations, visits and inquiries distinct

A system can mention a business without citing its website. A citation is not proof of a visit. A visit is not proof of a qualified inquiry. A useful review keeps the units and collection conditions visible instead of turning any positive observation into a commercial result.

Ask to see an authorized relevant observation record and the associated work. A clearly labeled demonstration explains a format; it does not prove client experience. Existing Google Search click summaries are not AI-search case studies.

Use the AI visibility reporting guide for a detailed record specification. To discuss a scope, share your website, priority offers, relevant buyer questions and languages through the contact page. No citation, inclusion or outcome guarantee is made.
