Compare prices within the right model
The following are first-party public price observations made on 19 October 2026. They are supplier asking prices, not independent quality ratings, Stormy Increment quotes or a global average. Check the live terms before ordering; tax, currency and checkout conditions may affect payment.

Managed work is a different purchase
The same Textbroker page lists a US$2,500 minimum project budget for managed service, with a custom quote based on requirements. It is not a US$2,500 price for one article. Verblio’s managed program is separately quoted and describes a volume requirement. Do not average a project minimum, a platform fee and per-word production into a supposed typical article price.
For your own comparison, specify the output and separate the word-based writing charge from interviews, expert review, illustrations, editing, upload and recurring fees. A writer’s fee is also not necessarily the fee for a full content strategy.
Why two equally long articles can cost different amounts
Consider two fictional 1,000-word assignments. The same length does not make them the same job.

Ask for the work difference, not an unsupported claim that a topic is “premium.” Some complex-looking tasks are economical when excellent source material already exists. Some short pages take substantial judgment because the essential claim is difficult to substantiate.
Check what the writing quote includes
Mark each item included, excluded or unknown: brief, topic and intent research, factual sources, interviews, writing, editing, technical review, revision process, images and rights, metadata, upload, publication checks and source-file delivery. Assign a person to each task your team will handle.
If an item is unclear, do not assume it is included. A package that says “ready to publish” may still require your subject expert’s approval. Revision allowances, publication permission and ownership need the actual agreement; do not assume a supplier’s advertised terms apply to Stormy Increment.
Do not turn an annual program into a per-article price
Stormy Increment’s confirmed US$8,800 annual plan includes a WordPress marketing website, keyword strategy, up to 300 English articles per year, AI/GEO work, up to 3,000 links per year and 12 monthly reports. Dividing the price by the article ceiling misrepresents the purchase.
The article figure is a maximum allowance within a multi-module program, not a standalone unit price or a requirement to publish the full number. For separate writing, request the scope relevant to the actual work. Do not calculate a low implied article fee and compare it with a writing-only supplier as if the products were identical.
